THEATER 1

The Theater 1 course will cover the basic techniques of acting and improvisation as well as a brief history of theater and theatrical styles. Students will explore vocal techniques, body language and physical acting, facial expressions, blocking, stage movement, and many other acing skills. A workshop setting will be used to develop creativity through a variety of activities. Assessments will include performance as well as interpretive reading and writing.
