After demonstrating a strong interest and performance in Automotive Technology II, the
student interested in a career in the automotive field should consider Automotive
Technology III. An emphasis on electricity and electronics, computer controlled engine
systems and anti-lock break systems will complement the four ASE certifiable skills
acquired in Automotive I and II. Individualized instruction geared toward specialty
careers will be emphasized and will facilitate the exploration of post-secondary learning.
This course requires students to understand the importance of safety in the work place.
Students are required to have approved safety gear including eye protection and to have
mastered Automotive Technology II with a grade of C or higher.
